Words With Friends

So I have gotten into a new iPhone hobby – Words With Friends!  It is basically scrabble that you play one on one with others via an iphone app.  I currently have games going with 9 different friends from Apple, The Bridge, school, etc!  So fun connecting with people in a different way.

The hardest part of the first day of playing was wanting to play turn after turn but no one was taking their turn in time!  I have since realized that waiting is part of the game.  It can take a while to finish a game since you have to wait for the other person to make a move.  Sometimes it can just take a few minutes to go back and forth a few times, but other times it can take a day or more of waiting for your partner to make a move.  The best part is getting on and seeing that I have all 9 games waiting for me to make a move!

I have been back and forth on if I am a good player or not.  Some games, I am beating the pants off my opponent and doubling their score!!  Sadly, other games, I have them same thing happening TO me :(  I guess a lot of it is luck of the draw and hoping you get some good tiles!  I have had to use a scrabble dictionary to see if a word is really a word!  Keeps your brain moving for sure.
