2 days and counting
So my to-do list should be shrinking, but instead it is growing!! I haven’t been able to check anything off the list since I’m getting most of the task done but it isn’t complete yet. And of course I am thinking of more more I have to do! It may seem a little silly that for Saturday I put the task in to feed Charlotte, bath her, and put her down for a nap… but it helps me plan the day! I’d hate to get so busy doing my to-do list that I realize I didn’t build in time to take care of the birthday girl!!
I am very much looking forward to my friend Sarah coming down tomorrow to help! I have also pulled Jeff into giving me at least a half day tomorrow of help to get the house picked up, grocery trip done, etc. etc. I want to get as much done as I can now so I won’t have to be so very busy later, but I also have to remember to rest so i don’t wear myself out so much that I drop before the party! I have realized this – next year, party will not be in our house! Not only is the normal party prep there – wrap gifts, bake, decorate, I also have to clean my house for the 30-50 people we will be having come through Saturday afternoon! eesh!
Enough of a break for now, back to work!

Jeff and Jordan have been married since August of 2005 and live in Spring Hill, TN. Jeff works at home as a producer and video editor for his company Light and Story. Jordan stays at home with Charlotte and babysits some of Charlotte's friends! Charlotte was born January 23, 2009. She is the light of our lives, as you can probably tell since most of the posts are about her! Keep coming back to visit us here at House of Lyons!
